Richard is 17 years old. His mother died several years ago.

He was living with his sister and her son, David. She was a prostitute who abandoned Richard and David.

Richard was left with 6-year-old David and his complete care. 

Richard never knew a father and Davids's father is unknown.

Richard has been going to a local garage daily to try and learn how to be a mechanic,

The owner of the shop has allowed him to come and try to work. Richard takes home about 1000-2000 shillings per day which is about .28-.55 cents.

This money has to be enough for food, rent and all their needs. It is not enough.

We would like to help Richard receive proper training from this shop owner and he is willing to mentor him as long as needed for 100.00.

We are asking for an additional 400.00 to pay Richards rent for a few months to get them started and also to buy a few household items like a new mattress.
